Whilst we have radically changed our lifestyle we simply could not have done it alone, so this page is our official Thank You page for all the help, suggestions and support we have received on our journey to freedom.

My Social Profile
Robin and Karin Trewin have been our landlords at Lake Okareka for almost 5 years. They have been like surrogate parents to us both and leaving them was a hard decision and very emotional. Thank you both for everything over the last few years, you are simply the best landlords and friends we could have wished for. The many boat trips around Lake Tarawera, the institutional Boxing Day party on the lawn, hung over and full of jolly spirits, a round of croquet and musings well into the night. Not forgetting all those dinners and parties we've enjoyed with you. We will miss you dearly.
Moving all our stuff was a mammoth task and we would have been moving for weeks if it had not been for the generous aid of our friends and their vans. So a huge thank you to Ron, Rhys, Cath, Jason & Maree, plus the kids, and not forgetting Shaun who came to visit and ended up helping Pete with 3 truck and trailer loads. Thank you guys for being bloody good mates!
Sue and Darren, and daughter Fern, are due the biggest thank you for simply being the best vendors I have ever dealt with. El Freedom was the first and only house truck we wanted, based locally to us, open to creative ideas and free thinkers to boot. I am still astounded and eternally grateful you liked our proposal and we are super stoked with the house truck. Thank you for taking a gamble on us and thank you for enabling us to achieve our dream in style.
Our new neighbour Graham, and local friendly tractor owner Karl and his mate Ozzy became my heroes when they pulled El Freedom up the hill. Thank you guys and a big thank you to Graham for your ongoing help around the place.
